Safeguarding the Environment with Li-ion Battery Recycling

With our Li-ion battery recycling expertise, we aim to safeguard the environment against any adverse effects. We have a state-of-the-art Li-ion battery recycling facility in India with an extensive capacity to manage tons of batteries and recycle them for further resource recovery. During our recycling battery process, we effectively dismantle, shred, and sieve battery waste for further segregation in terms of disposal and recycling.

There is an expanded accumulation of discharged and end-of-life Li-ion batteries across the surroundings. It creates an adverse environmental impact by increasing exposure to harmful chemicals, polluted metals, and other negative effects. It is expected to find that around 500,000 tons of Lithium-Ion batteries will reach their end of life by 2030 and create a degrading effect on the ecosystem.

Li-Ion Battery Recycling Technology

  • Mechanical Processing MethodDisassembling li-ion batteries to undergo a mechanical process. It helps recover valuable components including copper, black mass, plastics, aluminum, etc. Li-ion batterie's black mass material is transferred for the further hydrometallurgical process.
  • Hydrometallurgical Processing MethodIt is a chemical precipitation methodology that helps extract minerals from the black mass component of Li-ion batteries. We derive the value from black mass and deliver the same to battery manufacturers for reuse in the new battery production process.
